Woman-Centered Holistic Care
Zoe Midwifery is for women and their families, from all walks of life, through all stages of life.
Well-Woman Care & Homeopathy
Our clients range from teens to postmenopausal, and the care we provide is individualized to address each person’s specific needs, whether a preventive annual exam or problem-focused visit.
Reproductive Health Counseling
Get the sex education you never had, and take control of your health and wellbeing with a consult and care using the principles of FEMM (Fertility Education and Medical Management).
Prenatal Care & Birth
A midwife is one-to-one with you throughout your pregnancy care and labor. Zoe midwives are currently attending out-of-hospital births at a freestanding birth center, as well as in homes with water birth as a natural option.
About Midwifery Care
Midwifery as practiced by certified nurse midwives (CNMs) encompasses a full range of primary health care services for women from adolescence beyond menopause. These services include the independent provision of primary care, gynecologic and family planning services, preconception care, care during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, and care of the normal newborn during the first 28 days of life.
Midwives conduct physical examinations, prescribe medications and contraceptive methods, and order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests. Midwifery care also includes health promotion, disease prevention and individualized wellness education and counseling. These services are provided in partnership with women and families.
Care you can count on
Appointments take place at our office in Goshen. Your support person is welcome to come to your appointments and to be as involved in your care as you’d like. While we will see you for all your well-woman, prenatal and postpartum visits, we also have relationships with other midwives, physicians and healthcare practitioners in the community with whom we can consult, collaborate and refer. We will provide you with lots of information and local resources during our work together.
