Women’s Health
We are committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for women, in all stages of life, from all walks of life. We look forward to supporting you, wherever you may be!
What we offer
Well Woman Care
During your appointment, you and your midwife talk about the national recommendations for women’s health screenings and specifically about the services you need. We check your vital signs and, if needed, collect bloodwork or samples to send to the lab. In many cases, a clinical pelvic exam is needed only if there are specific concerns or if you are due for a pap. Most screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can be done without a pelvic exam, depending on symptoms. However, if a pelvic exam is needed, we will spend time talking you through it before we even start. When we get your results back from the lab, we will call you to make a plan for follow up and treatment, if needed.
FEMM Assessment & Counseling
(Fertility Education and Medical Management)
Women’s symptoms are often dismissed as a normal part of being a woman. It can be challenging to get an accurate and clear diagnosis. Women often hear that their symptoms are in their head, not real, or not important. Understanding your hormones and their role empowers you to take charge of your health. We use FEMM to understand your symptoms as signals, and provide health support when it is needed.
Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a safe, gentle, and natural system of healing that works with your body to restore itself, relieve symptoms, and improve your overall health. As your midwives, we are able to offer a full range of homeopathic treatments, in addition to other lifestyle-oriented options.
Our core values
Autonomy of women
Education and shared-decision making
Respect for the dignity of life
Care for the whole person: mind, body, soul
Well-Woman Care
Each stage in a woman’s life brings with it specific issues, including decisions about routine care, birth control, fertility, pregnancy and menopause.
Your well woman visit is a one-to-one with your midwife discussing you, your body, and your reproductive health. A well-woman visit provides an excellent opportunity to discuss maintaining a healthy lifestyle and minimizing health risks.
You can also set up a consultation outside of your well-woman exams with a trained midwife for addressing hormonal imbalances which can be associated with symptoms of pain, headache, anxiety, fatigue, weight gain, abnormal hair growth, infertility and acne.

Frequently asked questions
What services do you offer?
We are a full-scope midwifery practice, meaning we are able to offer prenatal care, birth, postpartum and immediate newborn care, well-woman and yearly visits. We also offer FEMM consults, Fertility Awareness education, homeopathy and K-taping.
Will you see me if I'm not pregnant?
Absolutely! Part of midwifery care is being with women throughout their reproductive lifespan. We want to help ensure you are healthy, both when you are pregnant and when you are not.
Can you do my labs/PAP smear?
Yes! We are able to perform many routine labs for pregnancy, postpartum and well-woman care. Labs can be billed to your insurance.
Do you perform ultrasounds?
We do not have the necessary equipment to perform ultrasound, but are happy to send referrals to other providers who can perform this service and who may take insurance for this service.
Do you take my insurance?
We are considered “out of network” with insurances. We encourage those who would like to use their insurance benefits to talk to their insurance carrier about their out-of-network benefits. We are a cash-pay service, and would be happy to provide a superbill to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits after the birth.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! Many families are on affordable monthly payment plans. Please reach out to us to discuss an individualized payment plan for you.
How do I make payment?
We are able to take payments in the form of cash, check, credit/debit card or ACH bank transfer. There is an added fee for paying by card or bank transfer.
